Three months ago I had the order from a good friend with the construction of some new cages. A cage 3.0mx 0.75mx 0.75m with sliding doors that separate the sexes and a cage 1.5 mx 0.75 x 0.75 m. and also an old cage (he buys them from me in the past), Lude to .

He waited for her impatiently, and last week I had the pleasure to IT, the new cages.

He is a great Rattlesnakefan and he holds a large group Crotlaus atrox in there.

Dear all,

I see that many of you own these beautiful species.

Was any of you bitten by it?

This spring we issued a small case report of a bite by a captive specimen in Hungary. While compiling that report I managed to trace only 4 published cases: 1965 Minnesota, 2002 two bites in St. Louis, and another fatal bite from Dayton. Thus there's a huge lack of knowledge on the clinical profile of these bites, and the most useful first aids.

Therefore we'd like to compile an review of as ...

Hi@all

I have a question about the right subspecies-naming. I know the Tropidolaemus-complex is in a revision. But at this time, what I have to write for the different localities?

Is it possible to describe using the names of local forms?

For example:

All animals from Sulawesi are T. wagleri subannulatus or T. subannulatus

All animals from Sumatra are T. wagleri

All animals from Kalimantan are T. wagleri immaculatus or T. immaculatus (just as an example!)

All animals from Palawan are ...

Hi everyone!

My name is Neven Vrbanic, I'm 35 years old, and I live in Zagreb Croatia. I have been keeping snakes since I was 7 years old. Presently I keep and breed over 40 species of snakes - Morelia Viridis, Ammodytes, 14 species of rattlesnakes, different tree vipers, few Bitis species... among other things. Although my main job is free lance photographer and graphic designer (so I might be boring you from time to time with too much snake photos :-)) I pretty much spend much more ...

I'm better known as a supplier of higher end rare herps but also have bred many species representing a plethora of genera. For instance I have successfully bred 11 species of crocodilians, 40 plus species of Boids, 4 species of Cyclura, 3 species of Varanids, multiple Chelonians including ...

Just got signed up and approved and thought I'd make a brief introduction. I'm in the SW United States (my dream place to live) and recognize quite a few names on here. I love a lot of different herps but I especially enjoy Crotalus, Corallus, Atheris, Varanus and all Indo-Australian Pythons. Personally, I just keep a few native species for venomous: C. atrox, C. s. scutulatus, C. viridis and primarily C. m. molossus and C. l. klauberi.

A couple of field pics from over the years.

I have been monitoring a number of sites since the 1970's and always look forward to February or March each year. the date at which our native Vipera berus males emerge from the winter slumber varies with our strange UK climate. This year a very long (by UK standards) and cold winter across much of the UK will have a similar effect upon the emerging berus.

My records show my earliest male was February 11 and this year is the latest with the first onces on my sites being 1 March.

Hello

I took these recently in the Western Ghats of India.

I would like a confirmation that they are Nuchalis as I am not 100% sure anymore...

A zoomed in picture of a yellow variety found within 100m of the one pictured above. It was not quite that yellow (over exposure on my part). I have more pictures of both if wanted but most of those I took of the yellow one are terrible.

Thanks, Owen.
