			<description>I am one of the happiest guys on earth! Today when I came at home I checked out my snakes in the snakeroom and saw two little critters racing through the enclosure of my female Crotalus unicolor, so BABIES!











After a closer inspection and when they both had shed their skin I noticed that they happened to be hypomelanistic! I feel so lucky

			<description>Hello All.  In 1992 or 1993, I had this piebald Red Rattlesnake, Crotalus ruber.  I do not remember which subspecies it was, ruber or lucasensis.  Also, it has been so long that I do not remember the sex of the snake.  Red Rattlesnakes come from Southwestern California, USA through the state of Baja California, Mexico.  They are easy to keep.  This snake was found in the wild.
