as I don´t really have a tiny chance to compete with Guenthers Photos I decided to make an own thread. I guess Peter´s snakes still look well through the lense of a newbie

I guess there are still some faults in the identification of the snakes... just tell me please

Hello all,

I'd like to share a few photos of my lately acquired pair of nose-horneds. These are F3 bred by Clemens Radspieler, and both are STUNNERS! I can't take my eyes off them, really. The photos are only cropped and right out of the camera, no color-improved. Enjoy. :-)

Female unfortunately wasn't very willing to pose, so two shots just to show You the coloration (in real she's less green I'd say, it's hard to show their actual colors...):

And the male, this guy is a born ...

I got a pair from Christoph a few weeks ago and they do pretty well. Besides the fact, that they until now just feed on living young mice and it is rather difficult here to buy those (luckily now I found a shop some 30km away), they now both shed without problems and seem to get a bit more calm - they were really aggressive the first days!

Cheers,

Guenter

Hi all,

I honestly dont know what frightens me most of these animals!

Their venom, quantity of venom, their size or fangs!

One thing is sure, they strike with quite some devastating power!

Judge for yourself, note how the mouse is going down the hatch!
