Hi there,

Finally I got some eggs of those fantastic specie. My darker female mated with one of the brighter males. I'm still expecting maybe eggs of the brighter female.

interesting to notice was the defense behaviour of the female with her eggs. I took off the eggs to incubate them into an incubator. Next time, I'll let them directly with the female.

Hi there,

I actually keep 3.2.0 C.rhodostoma, with interesting changings in colour.

Here some pictures:

Calloselasma rhodostoma. The bigger female, ready to breed. Very dark phase, with blueish reflects. She's an CB05

A CB male 06, brighter than the first one.

At least, a very bright female. She's a CB08. I'm deep in love with it!!!

Cheers
Just wondering if some of you has the chance to keep, or have kept, those species? I'm looking for a pair of them for over five years, without any success... Maybe someone could share his experience with this species and some photographs?

thanks a lot.

An adult that had recently taken a large meal (as can be seen from the photo!)
