I've kept them over two years now, and this is the second time I've gotten eggs out of them. The first time the eggs had dried a bit when I found them under the rocks, but they seemed to be ok after a while in the incubator. However, they went bad not many days after starting to look good. They are feisty and especially one will move towards me rubbing the scales in S-shape and attack at the same time if i disturb them like clean the tank or offer them food. But because these are small it´s very easy to stay out of their range and they have been pretty easy on hooks too. Very nice snakes to have in my honest opinion as long as one is carefull with them and remembers how dangerous they can be And last but not least, some pics of the ... I acquired a trio of E. ocellatus from Mr. Weinsheimer, and they are simply wonderful snakes. Last year both females laid eggs and 60+ babies hatched, that was really amazing experience for me - my very first Echis breeding. Awesome... I owe my success to the great advise I got from Mr. Weinsheimer, he kindly provided information that has greatly helped me in getting started and keeping this species without problems. Here ...
