So cool to see a birth taking place right in front of my eyes. When i took these pics i could also see one that was crawling around in the cage. This is the first out of the two in the previous pictures, that has managed to break out of the fetal membrane (is that the right word for it ?) I raised them to adult and last year I put them in my fridge for 2 months at about 5 degrees. The female subsequently gave me 4.4 healthy babies. Here they are mating in September, about 2 weeks after coming out the fridge. It was quite funny how the female dragged the male around the cage for hours. here is a video to see... There have been lots of serious envenomations reported by this species. this time, we keep 1.1 adult and 3 juveniles. the adults eating nice and stable, as long as you feed them not to big food ...
