the 05.11.´09 and the 0.11.´09 were nice days, as my Atropoides occiduus-pair mated for the first time. In fact it was the first time the male saw the female, but he needed only five minutes to becoming active. Smart guy!   

Both animals are 3 years old by now and approximately 55-60cm long. Atropoides occiduus is by far the smallest member of the genus Atropoides. Adults rarely grow to more than 65cm. They show a clear sexual dimorphism, the males are much slimmer compared  ...</description>
