			<description>Hello everyone,

I have just seen that there is no topic about Langaha madagascariensis.

It is sad that there are not that many keepers of this wonderful species, but in consideration of their high demands, an intelligible reason for me.

Even in comparison to Ahaetulla sp. (I keep A. nasuta and have kept A. prasina) they are much harder to keep (...at least alive).

I had one clutch last year, but all of the eggs were unfertilized.

One of my females (died this summer):

<description>Hey all, after long and careful consideration I have decided to go with this species for my first opistoglyph. I think they will make a reatively easy introduction into rear fanged snakes - I wanted to ease in gently, without being as gentle as getting something like Heterodon nasicus, for example. I just wondered what peoples experiences with these are? fun to keep? What sort of enclosures do people use etc? I will be sure to get photos up once mine arrives!

Many thanks,

Just to share two photos of my young Montpellier snake, Malpolon monspessulanus. It is said to be somewhere from Spain, but I have no clue... I like the orange belly though:

I love the stand-up thing in these guys. :-)

			<description>Hello,

just wanted to share some pics from my new snakes i picked up at the Hamm show last weekend. The boomslangs are wc and lived at a farm in south africa since a while and seem to be in perfect condition, just stunning animals. I`m really looking forward to try to feed them the first time

The Ahaetulla i got 5 juvenile animals from a friend which just arrived a few days before, also making a good impression except one whick has a bend at the tale

I am working at the genus Philodryas, which is still interesting to discover.

Remi Ksas and some other members was friendly enough and helped me with some photos of this fascinating snakes.

At the moment I do some meta-analysis of snake-bites from this genus and I will publish them soon.

Yesterday I received from Chile a case of a snake bite.

I think it is Ahaetulla mycterizans, but I have to count scales etc. At the moment they are isolated, but they still look good and have no ticks or mites.

They bite quickly and I will try to feed them soon.

			<description>I currently keep 1.1 R.tigrinus (CB2009) and 0.0.1 R.subminiatus.

All are doing very well and are feeding on dead pinky. They're very easy up to now.

I believe they have a very quick digestingsystem. I feed them often.

<description>described in Mindoro is Oligodon anchorus.

Oligodon sp., Mindoro Island - Philippines

well, this one, i found 2 years back on my very own property seems to be somethings different.

on our high elevations Oligodon anchorus can be found commonly, the new sp. is mainly found on lower elevations up to 400m.

in my opinion, this species is outstanding colorful and therefore on of the most beautiful Oligodon i have seen so far.

<description>The funny thing about this little snakes is that they seem to have differences in pattern. I can't tell anything about it accept that the pattern doesn't say anything about the gender of the snake.

This snakes are CB 05 and much bigger then on the picture now. I should make some new pictures some day...
