After 72 - 74 days, 9 cute baby mambas hatched out from 10 remaining eggs.
Unfortunately, they didn´t manage to shed their postnatal skins off within almost 3 weeks!

Anybody here with some experience in "delayed" shedding in mambas?

Cheers,

Peter

well peter, to me they look well on the pictures... i would only raise the temp a bit in combination with the humidity.. it sometimes happen after a bit rough incubation time here as well, the will shed... make them eat and watch... again - congratulations peter... i love your black mambas as you know... i still have a nice subadult couple from you...

cheers
Mario

Hi Peter
Yes I have had this with baby black and green mambas but not normally the whole clutch! Only a few of them, but as Mario says, they eat normally and will shed next time.
Cheers
Gavin
