| Just a thought but perhaps he meant they were celebrating their first year under his care? |

he wrote birthday Brance... so i suppose he refer to the age of the animals....
i also wonder by watching the picture why the female looks so badly dehydrated... i have never seen an animal that skinny after a clutch of eggs... i mean, just look at the tail, there is only skin and bones... if Armand would not state different, i would have guessed i see a picture of a WC animal... some of the snakes from our rescue unit look like that, after been confiscated somewhere and long time bad care in captivity...
well, i dont mean that animal might be a WC, but if it is indeed only one year old, than it shows clearly why one should wait with breeding attempts till the animals be old enough and physically ready to breed...

| Hmmm ... the first birthday is day day of birth, right? Now this is REALLY fast, mating on the day of birth! |

| she was fairly thin after laying, but not terribly.
i think that she may look a bit worse than it actually was.
she happily ate 2 mice the following morning and was as active as normal the following day as well.
she was just over 4 feet when mated, the male was slightly larger but no bigger than 4.5 feet.
so they are both quite small. |
