| I wanted to share some of my images of the Atherini tribe. The pictures were taken in the wild during a trip to Kenya and in captivity. I hope you enjoy the images which you can find HERE
Thanks to BioKen and the National Museum of Kenya as well as Michael Bollhorn where some of the captive specimens were photographed. |

| Nice photos! I recognize many of them from the Terralog book Venomous Snakes of Africa. I sure would be nice to visit places like that and see Atheris sp. live in situ.

| Thanks to all.
Actually I canonly recomend to just get up from the couch and go herping. Be it in Europe or in Kenya. If you are interested in seeing Atheris in the wild, Kenya is probably the cheapest way right now. Last time I checked flights were quite affordable and if you don't need fancy hotels the rest of the trip is cheap. I spent less than 2000 EUR on 6 weeks in Kenya including flights. |

| Brilliant pictures. Love the strike shots. I saw none in Kenya (in the wild at least) though I did not go looking for them which would be why Owen |
