My breeding couple of Green Mambas.
The bigger, yellow specimen is the lady. I've been breeding these twice, unfortunately the female died one year ago, I bougth her 1995 on a show as wildcaught adult.

grrrr, that hurts peter! you know how badly i want some Dendroaspis viridis.... cant see them enough, unfortunately im having difficulties in getting some, to bad...

stay away from them Jelmer, just a friendly advice... you will become addicted, thats for sure! mambas are the "champions-league" in venomous snake keeping, and you will never get away from them... dont tell me later i dont give you a warning before!

You'll become addicted for sure indeed! It is not only their beauty, but they are very special in behaviour too. Very elegant, curious, etc.
