PostSubject: [trigonocephalus] gestation period   Thu 1 Apr - 14:29

I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding gestation periods in Trim trigs?

Today marks exactly 6 months since copulation was first noticed between my pair. The female is extremely swollen and I can't imagine her holding out much longer. This is my second consecutive year to breed this female and I regret not documenting more details surrounding her first litter and I haven't been able to find much online. Hopefully someone here with more experience and better notes can help me out.

Thanks for the info Mario.

7 months and 12 days!?! Wow! How many babies did she have? At the size this female currently is, if she went that long she'd probably have 30+ babies! She is huge and I'm sure she'll drop soon. As soon as she does I'll post some pics along with all the final tallies.

my female had only 17 babies at this time, plus lots of infertile eggs...

T.trigonocephalus is one impressive species and it is a pleasure raising their offspring...
good luck with them!

cheers
M.
