Pictures taken in terrarium, i wanted to bring the animals out for a photo session but the weather wasn't on my side.

While i was photoing the V.aspis asps the V.renardi couple showed some mating behavior.

Hope you will enjoy the photos.

Vipera latastei gaditana male, Southern Spain.


Vipera renardi female, Iasi Romania.

Vipera aspis aspis female, Metz France.


Vipera ammodytes ammodytes male, Lake skutari Montenegro.


Montivipera xanthina male, Turkey.

Every snake's beauty, but that red aspis with yellow ammodytes rock. They're essence of vipers. Could write how long and old is male of xanthina ?

Shocked I agree ... that yellow ammodytes absolutely gorgeus, then comes red aspis and xanthina .... What do you "svenssons" do with/to your snakes - they all are allways so beautiful scratch

The ottoman is born late 2008 and is about 60 cm long.

It's all about luck Rolling Eyes haha I can admit that i'am very picy about which snakes that i acquire. I won't buy just any snake, it must be "the snake" Twisted Evil

If you guys think the orange aspis is nice you should se one of the yellow/orange males, they are insane..

Lovely snakes. I'm really interested in that xanthina of yours, the markings close to the head look almost striped. Is the anychance of seeing a picture of the whole snake from above?
