DIAMONDBACK TERRAPIN DAY
An announcement from the office of Governor Martin O'Malley has proclaimed 13 May as Diamondback Terrapin Day 2010. Alex Zerphy, a student advisor to the Terrapin Institute, appealed to the Governor's Office and successfully had the Diamondback Terrapin acknowledged by official State Proclamation.
