| Really nice snakes Brett Do you have any pictures of the Naja philippinensis showing more of its body? Jelmer |

| Wow
I've never seen such a dark nivea, is this from a special locality?
Greetings |

| Thanks.
Jelmer: I will take some more shots over the next few days when I get some time. I have a few more species so will get around to all of them in time.
Markus: She is quite interesting as she came from a clutch of LTC yellow to yellow mating, and the other snakes were all light, some very yellow. She has darkened more with each shed and is still young. I expect her to be almost black as an adult (you can still slightly make out the juvie neck band). Most of the "chocolate" nivea come from the Cape Town area, although I have kept these before and she is quite different.
Cheers. Brett |

| Legionis is like a heathen statue. Just an animal, but the share look raises the hair on my neck.
Extremely beautiful animals you've got there. |

| Naja annulifera was one of my favorite cobras. The one I had lived for many years, and I never had a problem with it. Clean sheds, ate defrosted mice or rats, never what I'd call aggressive, and easy to work with, she grew to a length of over 8 feet. This was one of the easiest and most reliable snakes I had ever kept. Fortunately, I was always better at keeping snakes than I was at photographing them! |
