On the site its written like this:
"[24 July 2010] After 4 years of support, the JCVI no longer hosts the Reptile Database. We are working on the transfer to a new server although this may take a week or more. Contact JCVI if you have questions or concerns.
The next update in scheduled to be released in Aug 2010"
