PostSubject: aloha from The Netherlands   Tue 31 Aug - 0:54

Hi, I'm Marcel.... 38 years old and i live in The Netherlands ( Europe)
I'm keeping several years snakes, and about 5 years venomous snakes.
I especially like arboreals such as B. Schlegelii and trimeresurus ssp.
I've been breeding b. schlegelli for the second time this year, and 2 females are ready to drop !

I'm planning to get some trim. insularis next month at snakeday in The Netherlands.

well , i've also 1 non venommous snake : 0.1. python reticulatus super tiger.

when i've some more time, I will post some pics off my arboreals
Cool

Welcome and nice Snakes! Love your schlegelii collection, really colorful animals!
A weird question, do you know the guys from rare-reptiles.com or does anybody else know them? Some experience with animals of them? Sorry but I thnk it's not necessary to make a big deal so I don't want to start a new thead.

I can only give some positive advice towards them, i haven't got any problems or bad story's to tell about rare reptiles Wink

Nice animals, and welcome Marcel. Maybe you can post some pictures of the enclosures Smile
By the way, that 'grass' that appear in the pic with the T. puniceus, what plant is it?

Regards

Fantastic snakes!

As a general comment to all venomland herpers your cages are really inspiring! I think a prerequisite for European reptile keepers must be green fingers!

Marcel I think you need some Atheris now to add some African spice to your collection.

no I don't albino

@ Israel M. Sánchez, don't ask me nothing about plants please Laughing
I know it's a green plant, and you supose to give it water so now and then........that's all I know lol!

here's a photo off one off the enclosures , it's a old one from last year.
the plants are now all over the cage, and now and then I've to cut the plants a little smaller.
there's enough light and a sprinkler inst. , there's nothing to it.......you just let nature do the rest
Very Happy
it's a real joy to look at

Cool
