Hi,

congratulation! Do you expect more eggs from the same female? If she laid 3 eggs yesterday, and not all at once, there is some problem... I hope it will finish well for you and the female...

Cheers,
Peter

Yes i do expect more eggs from the same female, and i certainly hope there is no problem but it would be typical of my luck Sad
The eggs she has laid have been laid far apart (in the enclosure) and earlier than i expected and i guess ill just have to wait and see what happens.
She has about three more visible lumps on her indicating eggs and a good friend who has seen alot of mamba breeding (worked in an afrikan park) said she could have just dropped of a few bad eggs before laying the clutch.
Something important to note is that because i didnt expect eggs so soon i hadnt put in an egg box for her to lay eggs in and i did that the same day she laid the first three.

I would be very thankful as to any advice about this matter.

Hi Agust.

We bred this species 4 times so far, and all females laid all eggs at once. Sure, if she didn`t have box for laying eggs, it could cause problems, but I don`t think she would wait so long. Anyway, I wish you the best with her, it`s amazing species and always good to see breeding it. I hope at least one of our 3 pairs will do the same for us soon...

Keep up posted,
Peter

She laid two more eggs one day ago so i dont think there is any problem with the female except that she doesent like the egg laying box and instead seems to prefer a plant.
I fed her a small mice yesterday and will observe if she defecates properly.
4 of the eggs look good and have grown considerably and retained their clear white colour while another isnt looking so good but i will keep it anyway.
