Atheris chloroechis baby... It`s really too bad that they are just green in adult age.

Nice pattern really. Well, young snakes need more camuflage to survive. Good luck raising this beauty.

I just love Atheris. They are such fantastic snakes! Is this one captive bred? What is it feeding on. And my last question how does one reliable sex baby Atheris. I would assume probing would be difficult with such small vipers and I’m always concerned that popping may do some damage. Any answers from the Atheris experts would be most appreciated. Once again nice snake and good luck.

Yes it`s a captive born.. Only one of this female, but a real big baby. It`s feeding baby-mouses without troubles. I sex the Baby-Atheris with a probe, when the animal is 8-10 mounth old. Greetings Michael Hugi www.squamigera.ch
