| Hi guys! This is my N. siamensis. I'm not good with determining the sex of young snakes. Any guess?  Thanks!

| Hmmm... the tail shape says female, but the subcaudal count is very high for this species and more suggestive of a male.... |

| "Popping" will bring clear results in cobras of this size usually....i stopped visual sexing of juveniles a long time ago - just too surprisingly later in many cases.... regards Peter _________________ Cobras - breathtaking beauties!

| I vote for a male, because, the snake is not fully grown, and the hemipenis is not full developed in this age. I know such from div. ammodytes. You can see it is a male, but the hemipenis is not full developed before the 2nd or 3th year. Only sometimes.... |

| So it's back to square one  I guess time will tell. I have another that I bought as a male, will take pictures and upload for comparison. |
