| this morning, i found our Denroaspis angusticeps copulating in her cage. the group contains 2.1 and seams to be a fantastic gang. i was caught a bit by surprise, coz i was believing we only have 3 males. well, it turns out that even probing isn't always 100% right. the mating male is our "old" inmate - the 1.1 was introduced 2 weeks ago. so far, i cant see any comment fight between the males and also feeding is rather easy. we just leave 10 mice every feeding session (once a week) inside the cage and the snakes never fight about the food. i was told by South-african friends i will have never problems feeding mambas in a group. in the beginning a bit sceptic i can say, it is all well and the snakes behaving surprisingly well while being feed. cheers Mario |

| Hi Mario, were these 2 mambas locked, or you just saw them in this possition? It`s hard to see it from picture... Me and Marek can`t believe there was female among 2 specimens from Peter... I would bet for it they are males. Probe went inside very deep in both cases... Well, if there is really female, I am glad for you, as you wanted one... (and that`s the most important). Anyway, even if we made a mistake, I think one mistake from approx. 30 probing isn`t so bad at the end... Best regards, Peter |

| Hi! Are there any eggs yet? Hope it worked =)! I had the same with my Thamnophis s. terataenia. Once I bought 2 males and when they turned to mating age the were copulating. Now I have 1.2 instead of 2.1 =)
Best wishes
