Hi, here are some of my Usambaras. If I am honest, I do not like them much. - But nice to look at.

Cheers, Ro. |

Yesss. I had Atheris squamigera for years. Fantastic species to look at but nothing more. That's probably why I'm into Elapids. Cheers, Ro.

I have the same opinion, i got a female squam in september from the Hamm show. Put her in the enclosure, she looked around a bit and found a nice branch to rest at, she´s been there ever since that day. Atleast she lays in the open so i can view her Better than her boyfriend who prefers to stay under the leaflitter on the bottom.

Oh you guys are killing me!!! Squams and cerats boring? Wow, I love my little bulldogs of the arboreal world! Sure, they're not going to jump off a limb, chase you down, and kill you like your elapids will. But they are feisty little mongrels with a lot of heart, like Marthinus said. Perhaps they are an acquired taste and you gentlemen simply have not learned the pleasure yet.
