just watch the snakes, what do you notice? did you see any strange behavior in them?

About this church using rattle snakes for the strange performances are written a lot of articles.
Most of the time they use Crotalus horridus atricaudatus (I know this taxon for the canebrakes are not valid anymore).
My experiences are that the females of them become very calm after a while, but even you might be able to freehandle the females, I wouldn´t advice it to someone.
My male - now at Marios place - was totaly stupid if he was under his hiding place. He shows a strange territorial behaviour. The church guys wouldn´t want to mess with him Laughing

They should use D. polylepis instead of C. horridus and the problem would be vanishing very soon ...
