Just found nice 8 babies in the terrarium of my squamiger group. I keep 3.2 and the parents of the babies are red female and yellow male. You will see the parents bellow in the photos as well. I finally got some time to take some nice outdoor photos of both the babies and the adults. So here they are..
First the babies...

Very, very beautiful!

It wasn't so many years back that Atheris sp. were relatively rare in colections. It wasn't that the snakes were especially rare, it was more a problem of getting healthy specimens, since so many imports were heavily loaded with parasites. Now, with more people seriously working with healthy specimens and the offspring being available at the many shows world wide, many species are in collections that were only dreamt of years ago.

The availability of captive born stock reduces the demand for wild caught imports, and makes really healthy stock available to the skilled reptile keeper. It's all good!

I love your squams. Do you have a link to a higher resolution of your adults? I have a viper screensaver collection going, and yours would make an awesome addition
