In the past I wrote to the guy sometimes, in the main they are trading tropical-fish...
All the interesting things from the stocklist they don´t really have!
The minimum order value is 3000 or 5000 Euro...

I heard they stopped giving export permits to new people. We have a guy contracted to sell to us only, and we have another shipment coming before mid July.

I don't think they issue export permits at all - or do they belong to the Malaysian government?

And what should the website with all these different lists of available animals be for, if they don't want new customers?

What I heard was, someone got arrested smuggling, so even our exporter was not allowed to export to us for a while, until the investigation was completed, and they knew about everyone involved. But 2 weeks ago, he did send us a shipment, and he is going to try send us another shipment before our show in late July.

I heard that the people in Malaysia that already have export licenses can continue to export, but the Government will not allow any new people to become exporters. The people that already have export licenses will be grandfathered. Anyone that is exporting can accept new customer to ship to if they want, but new people in Malaysia can not become exporters. That is what I heard.

On the Hamm show in March I got some snakes from an importer that makes a lot of with a exporter from Malaysia. But, he told me, that for him it was no longer possible to import for a long time. The shipment he got in March was the last.
He says to me, that Malaysia Goverment worked on a ,, positv-List,, for the exporters.
The biggest of all exporters are arrested. Check the Net, you will find the case.
Two weeks ago I come back from Malaysia, and the People there says to me, that Export to europe is not possible for a long time. BTW the Importer that bring my snakes in Hamm was from France.
Maby that the US Boys becomes still shipments from Malaysia ...
I think yes, then there was a lot of offered P. hagieni and T. wagleri from there in the Net over the last months.
