| Hi there, Just want to update some pictures of my Naja melanoleucas... This specie is one with the most interesting behaviour I ever could observe in the different Naja I could keep. They are curious above everything, what cause some "space-sharing problems" when they want to come over to see what is happening. But as long as you stay as calm as possible, they're quite calm too. They need a lot of space to be held, in my view, safely. In bigger enclosures, they spread their entire beauty and agility. You remember my big male (CB05)? I posted a picture a year ago. He now got two companions more, also CB05. The male And the female. She's quite photogenic... I could observe some mating behaviours, but I'm not sure of anything. Time will give the answer. Cheers LucasC. |

| Spectacular looking forest cobras! What is the size of their enclosure and what is their size? Best of luck with their breeding and please keep us posted if there are positive results |

| Hi,
Thanks for your comment. The enclosure for the N.melanoleuca is about 3m00x1m00x2m20 (length, large, height). The biggest male is about 2m30 now I think. It's quite difficult to take it's exact size.
I'll post if I have a result of breeding.
Cheers. LucasC. |

| Hello,
There are four eggs that are viable. One got mycelium after two days, as I didn't wanted to get the rest of the clutch in danger, I took it straight away. But the four last seem to be allright by now. Just keeping the finger crossed.
By the way, does anyone here has a clutch too this year, and what is the average size of a clutch? The incubation data?
Thanks at all. |

| Awesome! Congratulations on the eggs! Hopefully everything goes well with the incubation and you get some little ones. | Lucas Carretero wrote: |

I bred mine two years ago and got eggs but they all went bad. It was her first time being bred, as far as I know, and she laid 28 eggs. Around 18 ended up being ok but they all ended up going bad. -Jamie |
