Many years ago, I saw a pair of Bitis gabonica for sale, 3'-4', that were a solid burgundy red/deep pink color morph. There were no brown or tans anywhere. Unfortunately, I did not have space to accommodate any more B. gabonica, and I did not buy them. I'm not sure if they were the Western or Eastern form.
Does anyone have photos of B. gabonica in this color morph...or any others? I once had one that was entirely in shades of blue. B. gabonica is more variable in coloration than is commonly seen. If anyone has unusual color morphs, or has photos of them, I'd love to see them!
