Probably a male. He has pre-cloacal pores well developed.

Here in Southern Africa [Zim] we have a worm lizard species Zygaspis ferox (Ferocious worm lizard). They enjoy invoking terror and they can tear flesh off of their assailants by doing death rolls!

I believe they are common, because when it rains and the land is flooded, we can find on the surface. I'm living three years in Pernambuco, found some 5-6 specimens .

I don't know if someone from Brazil reproduced in captivity.

The box has newspaper and pot of water. Eating pinks, earthworm, "Wiscas" (cat food).
