| Thanks Alex, somehow i like these freaky creatures. Are they common where you live? Is it possible to bread them? And one more question, are the doing well in captivity? Regards Ambros |

| Hi.
How cool is that? What is its temperament like?
Here in Southern Africa [Zim] we have a worm lizard species Zygaspis ferox (Ferocious worm lizard). They enjoy invoking terror and they can tear flesh off of their assailants by doing death rolls! |

| Hello Ambros,
I believe they are common, because when it rains and the land is flooded, we can find on the surface. I'm living three years in Pernambuco, found some 5-6 specimens .
I don't know if someone from Brazil reproduced in captivity.
The box has newspaper and pot of water. Eating pinks, earthworm, "Wiscas" (cat food).
Regards and thanks for the conversation.
Excuse-me for my English
Um abraço Alex. |

| Hi Marthinus,
At first moment, to get very angry, raise the head and the tail, open their mouth, are willing to bite. After one time, are accustomed they are calms. The people here have very afraid of them... and talk: "when they bite, open their mouth only after the thunder ! "
thanks Alex. |
