| I'm didn't breed the animals, but I believe it is the product of breeding an Albino kaouthia and a Suphan kaouthia, and then breeding offspring back to the parents or each other. |

| HOPE TO PRODUCE SOME IN A FEW YEARS. THIS IS MY NEXT PROJECT YOU DON'T SEE MANY PEOPLE WORKING WITH THESE GENETICS. AND I THINK IT WILL SHED LIGHT ON SOME OF THE GENTIC CLUSTER OF THE NAJA KAOUTHIA. AS LONG AS THOSE WHO BREED KEEP RECORDS....

| I´ve breed them in the last Years...Amelanistic Suphans are really nice cobras. My next Project for the next years will be tripple het kaouthias (suphan, amelanistic, axantic). |

| What's the goal in producing these triple hets, Carsten? As just producing hets will not be the end of the line - how do you expect in the next step to look the homozygous form of these triples different from the "suphan"-amelanistics? Maybe pure white red-eyed specimens, which could be called "red eyed lucy? And, by the way, wouldn't it be more senseful (and mainly more efficient) to start that project with "suphan" -amelanistic het for axanthic instead of only triple hets? | Quote: | | AS LONG AS THOSE WHO BREED KEEP RECORDS.... |
yes, and i would continue these thoughts and add "as long as they won't be given to people who don't give a shit for what they mix - but that's a pipe dream"

| To start a project with an amelanistic Suphan het for axantic? Sorry but that would not be the beginnig...if you have reached this point...you´ve done 75%-100% of the project.
So I know...there exists amelanistic Suphans....and axantic kaouthias (in Europe I don´t heard from any). But there don´t exists amel suphans het for axantic or axantic kaouthias het for amel suphan.
So if you breed an amel suphan with an axantic...you´ll get normal kaouthias het for amel, suphan and axantic. Thats it.
If you than breed these triple hets...you´ll get several colour morphs. So you know the Punnetsches Quadrat...you´ll know the results. One of them would/could be amel suphans het axantic. Another result would be real snows. How they would look like with the additional suphan gen...nobody knows.

| I have decided NOT to go the Albino kaouthia x Suphan kaouthia cross in favor of breeding a pair of Suphans together and possibly breeding my other Suphan female to my Blizzard male (an actual Red-eyed Leucistic). A pure white kaouthia with red eyes. I will also breed this male to a female kaouthia that proved to be Het Sunset this last year. She is possibly Het Leucistic As well. I will find out by breeding her to the Blizzard male, which carries both Sunset and Leucistic gene.
