hi!
I present my adult male of Bitis arietans. is that it is a South African, but not what your particular location .... I thought it could be Natal. measures about 70cm approx. I leave the photos. sorry, my english is very bad.

Hi


That does slook like a Natal specimen but also could be a Western Cape specimen(what Ive personally seen).

But the red markings on the face would more likely suggest more from the Savanha of Southern Africa (Northern Natal).


It is a very decent size male, enjoy him!

Agreed.
It resembles some Natal ones I have seen.
W. Cape ones also tend to have more orange in them.
