Hello everybody, I can't believe I forgot to make an introduction post, but better late than never right?

My name is Michael Veloso, I am 17 years old and I live in Newmarket Ontario
My collection currently includes:
female, 4 ft BCI Boa name: "Powder" (she is DH Snow)
Male, 7 - 8 foot vicious macklot's python "Shaka Zulu"
Female, Super Hypo Carrot Tailed Baldy Paradox leopard gecko "Lily"\
Jack Dempsey fish, sex unkown, 2 inches long

I also thought i'd share the recent loss of my Savannah Monitor, Lrrr. He passed away on the 7th after a long life of hard conditions and bad homes. I bought Lrrr as an adult, and I had him for a year
I am fairly confident that the only reason he survived that extra year with me was because of the amazing care I gave him. He, sadly only got the proper care and attention he needed in the last year of his life
Unfortunately for me, I got the crap end of the stick. I took in a monitor from bad homes and I got to feel the hurt. I learnt a lesson from that, So I plan to start over, buy a hatchling Sav and just raise it properly so I KNOW it hasn't come from bad conditions. So hopefully my collection will be put back in its rightful order
But, this is a hot forum so I also thought I'd share some of my ambitions with you guys
I have been recently searching for a mentor, to train me how to responsibly and properly handle venomous snakes. I have no idea in my head about owning hots, I am just looking for experience and training for my future career (If anybody around my area is willing to mentor me, In non-venomous snakes first THEN upgrade to hots, Please contact me. I am willing to do ANYTHING for that experience!)
I plan to go to college or university for Zoology > Herpetology > Venomous snake conservation/crocodilian conservation
The ULTIMATE 2 goals I have for my life are:
1. Eventually opening my own anti-venin facility. This is probably my top goal in life, because I have no problem risking my life to save the lives of venomous snake bite victims. The way I see it, somebody has to do it. And I have no problem doing it so why not?

. Not to mention I love these animals with a PASSION, working with them wouldn't be defined as "work" to me
2. would be to eventually work with Saltwater crocodiles. Man... Steve Irwin really dug those crocs into my head. Ever since I saw my first BIG croc, I knew I wanted to work with them.
So that's a little novel about myself, I hope to get to know all of you better! see ya around the forums
