October is supposedly their natural breeding month in the wild, so you can pair them up now and see what happens. But you can also pair them up during a time that you have a natural warm, rainy cycle in your home country. Sorry, I don't know much about Ireland, so I can't tell you the best month to do so. My spring time works well here because the temperatures are rising, there's lots of rain that gets the barometric cycle changing frequently, and it's warm enough to raise the windows in the room and let in the natural air. Barometric pressure changes really get the snakes active and I will mist the cages heavily during this time to stimulate them. If snakes are introduced during a heavy storm, sometimes copulation happens right away. Give it a shot. Good luck!
