A few weeks ago I was at a friends place shooting some pictures of his stunning collection. It was a good moment to experiment a bit with the little light-tent my girlfriend gave me.
The result is quite good, since most shots are made with my Canon EOS400D and the 18-55 objective that came with the camera...

I definitely would not dare to do that whit a 55 mm. lens.

@Henrik: The pictures with the black background are taken without glass, but with the friend watching me and the snake, the few pictures in the enclosures, includin the close-up of the B. schlegelii are taken through the glass...

Some fantastic pics! What camera do you use? Looking to get a nice DSLR, but not too clued up on what is good or not.

I have to settle with a Canon EOS 400D, Navreet. It's an old camera that was one of the cheapest DSLR's when I bought it.
If you want to know more about camera's; There are some people here that know a whole lot about them, I'm just an amateur... Günter for example can tell you what to look for and whot not to want...
