Hello everyone,
here's a short introduction of myself:
my name is Bart Kuse, i'm 30 years old and from Belgium, but currently living on the Dutch-Belgian borderline next to Breda,just because the Dutch law is easier on keeping venomous reptiles.
My job is paving and my hobbies are sea fishing, herping and of course caring about my reptiles. I am active in almost all branches of the hobby, caring for several sorts of day gecko's, poison dart frogs and venomous snakes.
my collection of venomous snakes consists out of 2.1 cryptelytops albolabris, 0.2 Botriechis Schlegelli, 1.1 aspidelaps lubricus cowlesi and 1.1 vipera ammodytes ammodytes (Scutari).

Hello Bart , welcome in or on Venomland ! I feel sorry for you that you had to move to in Holland because of the Belgian legislations . Well trust me , things might change in the Netherlands too . The problem could be that we don't selfregulate the standards in our hobby . In Switserland , the 'Venomkeepers 'made up some rules for themselves , and when the government wanted to regulate the field , they only had to negotiate about the details . Also in the Netherlands nowadays some political and animal-welfareforces work behind the scenes to ban animal-fares and breeding exotic animals in general .The frightening aspect of it all is that none of the societies involved know from eachother what new laws are coming . For instead , in Holland these forces are working to forbid bird- and dogexposures . I am prepared to write a wake-up call to the many animalbreeder-societies of our country because of many reasons . Anyway , this wasnt a nice welcomingtalk but all of us have a big job to educate people . Best regards , Joost Nieuwenhuizen
