Hello guys,
I am a herpetologist and work with conservation of herpetofauna, especially Amazonian fauna.
I always kept mainly venomous reptiles, I hope to learn from the experience of all of you and can help in that.
Regards.

Hi Thiago,

good to have you here! Indeed, an impressive collection of Bothrops. I currently keep B. asper (hypomelanistic), B. moojeni, B. leucurus and B. venezuelensis. Maybe we should stay in contact concerning maintenance, breeding, diseases etc.

So welcome again, and a happy and safe new year!

Regards,

Klaus

Welcome, very nice collection of Bothrops sp., especially B.itapetiningae. Its very interesting snake species for me. Good to have here another member who is interested in Lanceheads:) Also love them very much but at the moment I have just B.jararaca, R.alternatus and B.leucurus. And also I will be writting my bachelor degree work about Bothrops sensu stricto so looking forward for some chat with you:)

Thank you all for welcoming me.
I hope to learn a lot from your experience and can also add some.
Klaus, I`m sure our contact will be of great importance for the maintenance of Bothrops.
Ralph, actually B. Itapetiningae and B. bilineata are spectacular species, but difficult to maintain, at least here in Brazil. Here is a place really hard to find it.
My moojeni is in the Cerrado, center west of the country, which is the location of the holotype of the species.
I just posted some photos.
Jaroslav, you keep very nice species of Bothrops . I've had all these species in captivity and they are spetecular. Bothrops alternatus is one of my favorite specie. I think we have much to talk about ... I want to know more about your work.
Best regards.
