I have in my job, than one year ago with B pictus from Ayacucho locality.... Breeding don´t complicated, In 2009 make the first reproduction in captivity of Desert Lancehead (at Natural History Museum) with B pictus from Lima.

The B pictus of Ayacucho is a rare locality, and very nice colors, good definition in the marks.

Desert Lancehead, is a pit viper easy in the captivity, good feeder and the temperament is very quiet. Is difficult the bite, but when they view the mouse, They are great devils...!!
